It is big that's true, and look nice but that's not the point here. Product description says that it can cool room sizes up to 1672 sq. ft. This is not TRUE at all!
I have room 20x20' and this unit doesn't do any good. It makes room cooler but not cool enough. I would expect much more from 25.000 BTU and before this one I had like 10 years old unit 22.000 BTU and I see no differences. So something is not right. On sunny hot day you will sweat. I wouldn't recommend this to no one. Not very good if you need cool your room/house, unless it is small room.

I have had the unit and am glad I bought it, in that this window unit does put out good heat and great A/C. My only complaint's are that the Frididare CEO gave himself a huge 2009 bounus while shipping the jobs to make this unit to China and the setup on this unit literly involves you taking it apart. In the instructions it says to remove the cardboard shipping supports from the unit before using. To do that you must pull the unit component out from the frame (A 2 person process). After setup you will be happy but what were they thinking? Mabey they don't mind spending time and effort on newly bought produts where it came from. (China)
